Good negotiations start with good numbers. The Corporate Hotel Sourcing Analyst turns booking data into a clear picture of where a client's room nights and value are concentrated.
What the work involves
- Analyze hotel spend and booking data to identify where room nights and value are concentrated.
- Build benchmarks that compare like with like: same property, room type, dates, and terms.
- Prepare the market and property shortlists our sourcing team negotiates from.
- Check that agreed rates are actually available and being booked.
- Produce the reporting clients see, and keep the numbers honest.
What we look for
- Strong spreadsheet and data skills, and comfort working with large booking datasets.
- Methodical and precise: you check the baseline before you claim a saving.
- Able to explain an analysis plainly to a non-technical reader.
- Curiosity about hotel pricing and distribution.
