Zodiac works with companies that already spend meaningfully on hotels. The Business Development Lead is the first point of contact for many of them, and the person who turns an early conversation into a clear view of where better rates might be possible.
What the work involves
- Build and manage a pipeline of companies whose travel patterns suggest a worthwhile hotel procurement opportunity.
- Run discovery conversations with finance, travel, and procurement stakeholders.
- Work with our sourcing team to shape a proposal that reflects the customer's actual hotel spend.
- Carry conversations through to signature, then hand over cleanly to the teams that deliver the work.
- Keep clear records of what was proposed, when, and on what basis.
What we look for
- Experience selling a considered, consultative service, ideally to finance, travel, or procurement teams.
- Comfort with numbers: you can read a spend report and know which follow-up question matters.
- Clear, direct writing and disciplined follow-through.
- Genuine interest in hospitality and how hotel pricing actually works.
